Ms. Sato is a bilingual (Japanese & English) trainer and consultant with broad international professional background. She specializes in facilitation, organizational change and development especially in multi-cultural environments.
Ms. Sato holds a Masters degree in International Affairs from Columbia University, School of International and Public Affairs, and a B.A. in International Studies from International Christian University.
Ms. Sato started her career as a consultant at Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwCC) in Tokyo in the area of marketing and project management of global IT-system implementation. At PwCC, she later focused more on organizational development as she realized people are key factors for success in any project.
In 2001, she joined the human resources reform project at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Geneva. Prior to coming to People Focus Consulting, she worked as a program officer at the Japan Society (NPO) in New York, where she launched a multinational network of business and social professionals called the “US-Japan Innovators Project” as part of the Society’s 100th Anniversary initiative.
With her business experiences combined with her cultural sensitivity and communication skills, Ms. Sato provides clients a unique perspective for developing their human resources, international management skills and strategies.
