As the author of several renowned Japanese publications on strategic communication and facilitation skills, Yoichi Tamura has expertise in facilitating the establishment of new organizations, developing corporate missions and helping companies verbalize and communicate their corporate vision.
He is dedicated to supporting both individuals and organizations, and his work in human resource development is focused on corporate training and business school seminars for working adults and consulting in variety of industries.
As a project manager with the Nomura Research Institute, and later with Citibank he planned extensive information system innovation in Asia, Europe, and North America. He refined his skills in project management and strategy formulation while consulting for foreign companies in Japan.
He applies his experience with HR strategies for corporate change, performance management and coaching theory to help firms to break free of traditional corporate models so they can initiate change.
After graduating from Sophia University in Tokyo with a BA, he traveled west to earn his MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
